Overview
Ember & Oak Coaching is a full-page layout built for a considered, high-touch coaching practice — the kind that sells clarity, not volume. The hero opens on a warm cream ground (#F5EFE6) with a 3/5 + 2/5 split: a Playfair Display H1 at 58px above 18px body copy and a single copper CTA button (#B08968) on the left, a rounded portrait image with a soft warm-brown drop-shadow on the right. Vertical rhythm is generous — 140px of section padding on desktop, tapering to 90px on tablet and 70px on phone — so nothing feels rushed.
Below the hero, three white pain-point cards (numbered 01/02/03 in italic Cormorant Garamond) sit inside a three-column row on a paler cream (#FBF7F2), each with a hairline copper border, 14px radius and a soft warm-brown shadow that deepens on hover. The comparison band that follows is the emotional pivot: a light "usual approach" card next to a dark #2B241C "Ember & Oak way" card at 1/2 + 1/2 with matching bulleted lists — the visual contrast does most of the persuasion. A three-column process ribbon (Listen · Frame · Decide) follows, then a benefits row of three Blurb-module cards with 52px copper icons, 20px radius and a subtle -6px hover lift.
The testimonial band uses native Divi 5 Testimonial modules with round portraits and italicised quotes on the same cream ground, so the page keeps its editorial calm the whole way down. Two identical pill CTAs (999px radius, copper fill, uppercase 15px label) close the benefits row and the testimonial row — the ask is repeated but never shouted. Serif headlines (Playfair Display + Cormorant Garamond) carry the page; body copy in Inter/Outfit at 16–18px with 1.7em line-height gives it the long-form magazine feel this niche needs.
On phones, every multi-column row falls to a single column via flexDirection: column, the hero image stacks under the copy block, and headings step down cleanly (58 → 44 → 34px for the hero; 48 → 38 → 30/32px for section titles). No horizontal scroll, no cramped cards, and card padding stays comfortable at every breakpoint.
What’s inside
- Asymmetric 3/5 + 2/5 hero with eyebrow, Playfair Display H1, body copy, single copper CTA and a rounded portrait image carrying a soft warm-brown drop-shadow.
- Three-column pain-point row with numbered 01/02/03 headings in italic Cormorant Garamond, hairline copper borders, 14px radius and animated fade-in.
- Side-by-side comparison row (1/2 + 1/2) — a light "usual approach" card next to a dark #2B241C "Ember & Oak way" card, each with a matching bulleted list.
- Three-column process ribbon (Listen · Frame · Decide) with copper eyebrow labels, Cormorant Garamond subheads and a short paragraph per step.
- Three-column benefits row built from native Divi 5 Blurb modules with 52px copper FontAwesome/Divi icons, 20px radius cards and a -6px hover translate.
- Testimonial band using three native Divi 5 Testimonial modules with round portraits, italicised quotes and hairline warm-cream borders.
- Two repeated pill-shaped CTAs (999px radius, copper fill, uppercase 15px label) placed under the benefits row and under the testimonial row.
- Single-accent cream palette (#F5EFE6 / #FBF7F2 / #FAF6F0) with one copper anchor (#B08968) and one deep warm brown (#2A2320 / #2B241C) — nothing else to fight a real brand.
Who it’s for
Executive and leadership coaches with a considered, high-touch practice — the kind whose intake starts with a 90-minute conversation rather than a sales page. It also fits founder coaches, career-transition specialists, private therapists, wealth advisors, family-office consultants, boutique wellness practitioners and any senior consultancy where "quiet" and "considered" are part of the pitch. If your ideal client is a founder, CEO or partner-level operator quietly weighing a difficult decision, the tone, spacing and palette will feel right at home. It is less suited to volume-based cohort programmes, group-coaching bootcamps or high-energy fitness/marketing brands — the whole design leans editorial and unhurried on purpose.
Customization tips
The page is driven by two anchor colours — the copper accent #B08968 and the deep warm brown #2A2320 / #2B241C. Change those two globally and the layout re-skins: the dark comparison card, both CTA buttons, every icon and every eyebrow label all pull from those values. The hero portrait sits at roughly a 940×650 landscape ratio — swap it for anything close and the drop-shadow keeps working. Keep the H1 to 8–12 words; the 58px Playfair setting wraps gracefully to two lines but looks cramped past three. Each pain-point paragraph is written to two short sentences (~35 words) — respect that limit or the three cards fall out of height. Benefits blurb bodies are one sentence each. Testimonial quotes read best at 30–55 words; portraits should be square, 240×240 minimum. The "Book Your Clarity Call" pill CTA is duplicated below the benefits row and below the testimonials — update the label and link in both places.

Questions about Ember & Oak Coaching — Elegant Executive Coaching Landing Page | Divi 5
How does the layout behave on mobile?
Every multi-column row — the 3/5+2/5 hero, the 01/02/03 pain-point cards, the light/dark comparison, the three-column process and benefits ribbons, and the testimonial trio — collapses to a single column via `flexDirection: column`. Section padding steps down from 140px → 90px → 70px, and the hero H1 scales from 58px → 44px → 34px. Nothing scrolls sideways and the cards stay tall enough to read comfortably.
Which Divi 5 modules does it use?
Only native Divi 5 modules: Section, Row, Column, Text, Heading, Image, Button, Blurb (with FontAwesome and Divi icon sets) and Testimonial. No third-party add-ons required. The light/dark comparison contrast is achieved with column background colours, and the numbered pain-point cards are just Heading + Text inside styled Columns.
Where do the images come from and what do I need to replace?
The hero uses a Pexels photograph and the three testimonial portraits use `i.pravatar.cc` placeholder avatars — you will want to swap all four before publishing. Aim for roughly 940×650 (landscape) on the hero and 240×240 square crops for the portraits so the built-in rounding and shadow keep their proportions.
What should I edit first?
Start with the two brand anchor colours (#B08968 copper + #2A2320 deep brown), then swap the hero image and the three testimonial portraits. After that, rewrite the hero H1, the three pain-point paragraphs, the light-vs-dark comparison lists and the "Book Your Clarity Call" label — remember it appears twice, once under the benefits row and once under the testimonials.
Are the CTA buttons wired to anything?
The Button modules are pre-linked to on-page anchors (`#book` and `#book-clarity-call`) so the page will scroll to a booking anchor by default. Repoint them at a Calendly URL, a contact-form section ID, or an external booking tool — whichever fits your funnel — in both places to keep the two CTAs consistent.
Which Divi version does this layout need?
Divi 5. The layout is generated natively for Divi 5 and validated against its real module structure before publication, so it imports clean into the current builder.
Can I use this layout on client websites?
Yes. Every download includes a commercial license covering unlimited sites you own or build for clients. Only reselling or redistributing the layout file itself is prohibited.
