Overview
The layout opens on a near-black espresso ground (#16120e) that holds across most of the page, establishing a studio's quiet authority before the first scroll. The hero uses an asymmetric two-column split: text occupies a 16/24 fractional width on the left while a tall 4:5 portrait fills the remaining 8/24 on the right. A small-caps eyebrow in warm stone (#b3a794, Jost, 14px, 3px letter-spacing) introduces the section label before the H1 lands in Cormorant Garamond at 64px with a light 300 weight and a 1.1em line height — a combination that reads editorial rather than promotional. Below, a flex group holds a gold CTA button (#c8a46a fill, 2px radius, uppercase Jost 500) alongside an underlined text link, giving visitors two exit points without visual competition.
The second section lays a 68% uniform gradient over a full-bleed interior photograph, maintaining legibility while grounding the narrative in a real space. A four-column timeline grid presents four studio milestones from 2014 to 2025 using Divi's group module set to CSS Grid (gridColumnCount: 4). Each milestone is anchored by a Cormorant 48px year numeral in bold with tight negative letter-spacing, topped by a 2px cream border that substitutes for a traditional rule. The grid collapses to two columns on tablet and a single column on phone, with all breakpoints encoded directly in the JSON.
The team section uses a two-row structure: a flex header row with the H2 baseline-aligned against a short body paragraph, followed by a four-column portrait grid. Each card pairs a strict 1:1 square image (cover fit, no border radius) with a 2px top-border group containing the member's name in Cormorant and their role in uppercase Jost 13px with 3px letter-spacing, echoing the eyebrow system used throughout.
The fourth section inverts the palette to warm parchment (#f3ece0) for a values list structured as four horizontal flex rows: a fixed 64px number column, a growing H3 heading column in Cormorant 34px, and a 360px-capped body column in Jost 17px, each pair separated by 2px solid rules. The page closes on a contained appointment card, a 520px-wide dark panel with a subtle 1px warm border and the gold CTA, floating over a second full-bleed interior background, offering a low-pressure final conversion point.
What’s inside
- Asymmetric hero split (16/24 text, 8/24 portrait at 4:5 ratio) with a dual-CTA flex group: primary gold button plus underlined text link
- Full-bleed background-image story section with 68% uniform dark overlay and a 4-column CSS Grid timeline covering four milestones, each topped by a 2px cream border and a Cormorant 48px year numeral
- Editorial team section: baseline-aligned split header (H2 + body copy) above a four 1:1 square portrait grid with 2px top-border name/role cards
- Numbered values list with four principles in horizontal flex rows (fixed number box, H3 heading, 360px body), divided by 2px solid rules and stacking to column on mobile
- Contained appointment CTA card (max 520px, #1f1a15 panel, 1px warm border, gold button) set over a separate full-bleed interior background image
- Two-typeface system throughout: Cormorant Garamond for all display headings (weights 300, 400, 700) and Jost for body text, labels, and buttons
- Three responsive breakpoints on every section with explicitly stepped padding: 160/112/72px for standard sections and 200/144/88px for hero-weight image sections
Who it’s for
Interior design studios, residential architects, and boutique renovation practices whose brand depends on restraint and craft rather than spectacle. The four-member team grid fits solo practitioners and small teams without awkward empty slots. It also adapts well for hospitality designers, high-end furniture showrooms, and art consultants whose clients expect discretion. Agencies and freelancers building client sites in the luxury residential or lifestyle sector will find the typography system and palette convincing straight out of the import without heavy restyling.
Customization tips
The two-color page body, espresso #16120e and parchment #f3ece0, is set at the section level, so a full palette swap is four changes: replace the dark background color on each relevant section and update the text colors that reference it. The gold accent #c8a46a appears on both CTA buttons and is changed by editing those two button modules. For the hero H1, keep copy under 60 characters so the 64px Cormorant sits on no more than two lines at desktop width; longer text will force the portrait image further down on tablet. The timeline requires exactly four entries: adding a fifth will overflow the gridColumnCount: 4 grid unless you update that value manually. Team portraits must be cropped to a 1:1 square before upload (minimum 600x600px) so objectFit: cover fills each card cleanly. The values list supports up to six principles without crowding; fewer than three leaves the section feeling sparse.

Questions about Halden Row Interiors — Luxe Interior_design The Studio Page for Divi 5
How does the layout stack on mobile?
All five sections collapse to a single column. In the hero, the portrait drops below the text block with 32px bottom spacing on the text group. The timeline and team grids each reduce to one card per row. The values principles reflow from three-column horizontal rows to vertical stacks. Section padding scales from 160px down to 72px for standard sections and from 200px down to 88px for the image-backed sections, all set directly in the JSON.
Can the team section hold more or fewer than four people?
The row is built for exactly four members. On tablet it wraps to a 2x2 arrangement; on phone each card spans full width. Adding a fifth member requires adding a fifth column and changing the `flexColumnStructure` value from `equal-columns_4`, since the row does not auto-expand. Removing a member leaves a visual gap unless you also update the column count.
What images do I need to supply and at what sizes?
Three types: the hero portrait at a 4:5 ratio (minimum 800x1000px, positioned center); the story section background as a wide interior shot at 1920px, which works well at mid-to-low contrast since a 68% dark overlay sits on top; the four team portraits cropped square at minimum 600x600px each. The final CTA section uses a separate full-bleed background with no overlay, so a higher-key image with good shadow detail reads better there.
Is the numbered values list interactive or always visible?
It is a static flex layout using group modules and dividers; all four principles are always visible. There is no JavaScript toggle. If you need collapsible items you would need to replace the groups with Divi's native toggle or accordion module after import.
What does the timeline section require to edit?
Each of the four milestone cards contains three text modules: the year (a Text module using Cormorant 48px bold), an H3 subheading, and a short body paragraph. Replace those three strings per card. The 2px top border and column spacing are set on the parent group module and do not need to change. Keep year labels to four characters and event titles under 30 characters to avoid the Cormorant display size wrapping awkwardly.
Can I delete a section without affecting the others?
Yes. Each section is self-contained in Divi's block structure. No spacing or layout logic carries across section boundaries, so removing the timeline section or the values section leaves the remaining four or three sections intact and properly padded.
Which Divi version does this layout need?
Divi 5. The layout is generated natively for Divi 5 and validated against its real module structure before publication, so it imports clean into the current builder.
Can I use this layout on client websites?
Yes. Every download includes a commercial license covering unlimited sites you own or build for clients. Only reselling or redistributing the layout file itself is prohibited.
