Overview

The layout opens on a warm linen background (#f3ece0) that frames two centered headings before any service detail is given. An uppercase Jost label at 13px with 3px letter-spacing sets the section as a process page, then a Cormorant Garamond h1 at weight 300 carries the headline at 60px desktop, scaling to 46px on tablet and 34px on phone via explicit breakpoint overrides baked into the module. A 72px-wide hairline divider sits between the headline and the lead paragraph as a deliberate visual pause, and the body text is constrained to a 640px container to hold a comfortable reading measure at every viewport width. The section exits through a CSS curve divider at 100px desktop and 44px phone, bleeding the linen tone into the dark background below so the transition reads as designed rather than cut.

The timeline section uses near-black #16120e with 160px of vertical padding on desktop, compressing to 72px on phone. It is structured as a two-column flex row: the left column holds an 8/24 fraction for the section heading and a short orientation paragraph, while the right takes the remaining 16/24 for the four-step timeline. Each step is a cluster of three nested Divi Group modules: a narrow 14px-wide column containing a 14x14px square dot in antique gold (#c8a46a) above a 2px connector line in dark brown (#3a3127), and a flex-grow content block with a step label in uppercase Jost, a Cormorant Garamond h3 step title at 24px, and a single short paragraph in muted taupe (#b3a794). The four steps run from Consultation through Concept, Refine and Order, and Install and Reveal, each carrying a realistic week-range marker. On phone, columns stack and the gap between dot column and content column narrows from 28px to 20px.

The services section sits on #1f1a15, a fractionally lighter dark than the timeline that distinguishes the two sections without a hard visual break. Its right column renders eight deliverables in a CSS grid at two columns desktop, collapsing to one on mobile, with each item using a Font Awesome checkmark icon at 18px paired with a Jost text module. Because the grid is built in pairs, adding or removing items works cleanest in twos. The FAQ section on the same background splits into a header row (section label, h2, and a ghost button with a 1px #f3ece0 border as a secondary contact CTA) and a content row of six questions across two equal columns, each item separated from the one above it by a 2px top border line. The layout closes on the only fully warm section: full-width antique gold (#c8a46a) with a horizontal flex row that places the closing Cormorant Garamond h2 at 48px on the left and a dark-background primary button on the right, with a short reassurance line below the button. On phone the entire row flips to column with left alignment.

What’s inside

  • Four-step vertical timeline built from native Divi Group modules, with antique-gold square markers (14x14px) and 2px connecting lines, no third-party plugins required
  • Dual-typeface hierarchy: Cormorant Garamond at weight 300 for all display headings, Jost for body copy and spaced uppercase section labels, both applied consistently across every section
  • Eight-item services checklist in a two-column CSS grid (collapses to one column on phone) using Font Awesome checkmark icons at 18px
  • Six-question FAQ arranged across two equal columns with 2px top-border item separators, plus an inline ghost-button contact CTA in the section header
  • Full-width antique-gold CTA section with a horizontal headline-and-button flex layout that stacks to column on mobile, with a secondary reassurance line below the button
  • CSS curve section divider on the opening section creating a smooth tonal transition from warm linen to near-black
  • Three responsive breakpoints applied to every section: 160px vertical padding on desktop, 112px on tablet, 72px on phone, with heading sizes stepping down proportionally at each breakpoint

Who it’s for

This layout fits interior designers, architecture studios, and residential renovation consultancies that work with high-intent clients on scoped, fee-based projects. The tone and structure also suit bespoke kitchen designers, custom furniture makers, and home-staging practices that need to communicate a defined, trustworthy workflow before a prospect picks up the phone. It assumes a premium service priced per project rather than by the hour, so it is a better fit for practices that run a formal consultation-to-installation process than for general tradespeople or product-only businesses.

Customization tips

The two structural colors are warm linen #f3ece0 and near-black #16120e. Replacing both globally shifts the entire palette without touching any module individually. The antique gold #c8a46a appears on the timeline markers, the connector line background sits at #3a3127, and the CTA section uses gold as its section background. Swapping gold to a cooler accent (slate, sage, dusty rose) changes the mood substantially. Cormorant Garamond is free on Google Fonts; if your brand uses a different serif, match the 300 weight to preserve the editorial lightness. The h1 in the opening section is sized for a maximum of two lines at 60px, so headlines beyond roughly 45 characters will wrap to three lines at tablet. Each timeline step expects one short paragraph under 20 words for the tightest visual rhythm. The services checklist grid holds eight items and is arranged in pairs, so add or remove items in pairs to keep the two-column grid even. No photography is used anywhere in this layout.

Questions about Halden Row Interiors — Luxe Interior_design Process Page for Divi 5

Can I add or remove steps from the timeline?

Yes. Each step is a self-contained cluster inside the right column: a narrow dot-and-line group module alongside a content group module. Duplicate or delete any cluster as a unit and the vertical connector thread stays visually intact. Just make sure the final step's connector line has its bottom padding set to 0px, as the existing fourth step already does.

How does the color transition between the first section and the timeline section work?

The opening linen section carries a native Divi curve divider at 100px height desktop (70px tablet, 44px phone) set to the dark color `#16120e`. The curve is a built-in Divi section divider, not a separate module, so it travels with the section if you reorder the page. If you want a flat cut instead, simply remove the divider from the section's Advanced settings.

Are there any images in this layout?

No. The layout is entirely typographic with no photography placeholders. Visual interest comes from the palette contrast between warm linen, near-black, and antique gold, plus the type scale. If you want to add imagery, the left column of the timeline section is the natural insertion point: place an image module above the section heading group and adjust the column flex fraction to balance it against the timeline.

How does the FAQ grid behave on mobile?

The two FAQ columns stack to a single column on phone via a `flexWrap: wrap` and `flexDirection: column` applied at the phone breakpoint on the row. Each question item retains its 2px top border separator at all breakpoints. The header row with the ghost button also stacks, placing the button below the heading copy.

The services checklist has eight items. What happens if I add more?

The checklist uses a CSS grid with `gridColumnCount: 2`. Eight items fill four rows evenly. A ninth item creates a lone entry in the fifth row, which reads as unbalanced in the two-column layout. Add items in pairs (ten, twelve, etc.) to keep the grid filled. Removing items follows the same rule.

What is the recommended copy length for each timeline step?

The layout was designed with one paragraph of 15 to 20 words per step. The step content blocks are `flexGrow` sized, so longer copy stretches the row height and the connector line follows automatically, but steps with significantly different copy lengths will produce uneven row heights. Keeping all four steps to a similar word count gives the cleanest result.

Which Divi version does this layout need?

Divi 5. The layout is generated natively for Divi 5 and validated against its real module structure before publication, so it imports clean into the current builder.

Can I use this layout on client websites?

Yes. Every download includes a commercial license covering unlimited sites you own or build for clients. Only reselling or redistributing the layout file itself is prohibited.
