Overview
The layout opens with a full-viewport hero built from a single 4/4 column group locked to 80vh on desktop and 70vh on tablet (the min-height is explicit in the JSON, so the section never collapses around short copy). A Pexels lifestyle photo fills the section background at cover size with a 70% dark espresso gradient overlay (rgba 34,26,16) applied directly over the image, which keeps the cream H1 legible at every screen size without manual contrast work. The headline uses Fraunces at 72px desktop, stepping down to 52px on tablet and 38px on phone, with a textWrap: balance setting that handles awkward line breaks automatically. Below it sits a 20px DM Sans paragraph and a horizontally wrapping button row: a solid forest-green pill (#41603a, border-radius 999px) for the primary booking CTA and a borderless ghost pill for secondary navigation. A hairline cream Divider module then anchors three all-caps micro-detail Text modules in 14px DM Sans, giving first-time visitors address, hours, and class-size cap before they scroll.
The second section and the three-class showcase that follows form the educational core. Four Blurb modules sit in a two-column 1/2 + 1/2 grid; each blurb has a circular forest-green icon badge (Font Awesome, 32px, 16px padding on all sides, border-radius 999px) aligned left, a Fraunces title in near-black (#2e2a22), and DM Sans body copy in warm taupe (#675b49). Both columns collapse to full-width on phone via explicit flexType: 24_24 settings in the column decoration. Below that, three alternating image-text rows present the three class formats. Images are sized to a strict 4:3 aspect ratio with object-fit cover set in the Image module's advanced sizing. The Yoga row carries order: -1 on the image column at the phone breakpoint, pulling the photo above its copy on small screens and keeping the visual reading pattern consistent across all three rows without any DOM reordering in the template.
Testimonials are assembled from styled columns rather than a dedicated testimonial module. Three cards use 28px corner radius, a 1px warm border (#dccdb4), and box-shadow preset1, with flexDirection: column and justifyContent: space-between inside each card so the portrait row sits at the card bottom regardless of quote length. Portrait images enforce a 1:1 aspect ratio at 56px display width with object-fit cover, so any square headshot drops in without manual cropping decisions. The process section is a four-column grid (2 columns tablet, 1 column phone) where each step has a 48px green circular badge with a bold centered step number, a Fraunces H3, and a 16px body line. The Divider connectors between badges carry disabledOn: phone, removing the visual connectors on narrow screens and leaving a clean vertical list. The page closes with a floating parchment card laid over a full-bleed background photo, the primary booking button repeated, and a 1px #dccdb4 Divider module providing breathing room between the subhead and the CTA.
What’s inside
- Full-viewport hero (80vh desktop, 70vh tablet, 560px phone min-height) with a cover background photo, 70% dark gradient overlay, Fraunces H1 with three-breakpoint font scaling, and two pill-shaped buttons (solid fill primary plus borderless ghost secondary)
- Three all-caps studio detail Text modules in the hero (address, hours, class cap) separated from the button row by a hairline cream Divider module
- Four-blurb feature grid using Divi Blurb modules with circular forest-green icon badges (Font Awesome, 32px, 999px border-radius), Fraunces titles, and DM Sans body copy in a responsive 1/2 + 1/2 column layout that stacks to full-width on phone
- Three alternating image-text class rows (Reformer Pilates, Yoga, Breathwork) with numbered H4 labels, H3 titles in Fraunces, 18px body copy, and underlined text link CTAs; 4:3 cover images; Yoga row includes a phone-breakpoint column reorder via `order: -1` for correct mobile reading order
- Testimonials section with three padded cards (28px corner radius, warm 1px border, box-shadow preset1) each built from a Text module for the quote, a 56px circular 1:1 portrait image, and two Text modules for bold name and secondary role line
- Four-step first-visit process grid with 48px circular step-number badges in forest green, Fraunces H3 titles, Divider connectors that disable on phone, and a centered primary booking Button below the grid
- Floating CTA card section over a full-bleed section background photo, with a parchment fill (#fbf6ee), Fraunces H2, body text, a #dccdb4 Divider module, and a pill-shaped booking button
Who it’s for
Independent yoga studios, reformer Pilates boutiques, breathwork instructors, and movement wellness centers will find every section ready to repurpose. The intimate framing (small class caps, teacher-knows-your-name copy, first-class-free hook) also fits somatic therapists, sound bath practitioners, aerial fitness spaces, and any wellness brand that competes on personal attention rather than volume. It works equally well for a solo instructor building a first impression page and for a small team offering several complementary movement formats under one roof.
Customization tips
The entire palette runs through four hex values: swap #41603a (forest green) and #f3eadc (warm linen) for your brand colors and the hero gradient overlay, icon badges, step-number circles, and buttons all update in one pass. The hero background photo is set at the section level via the decoration settings, not as an Image module, so replace the Pexels URL with any landscape photo; the baked-in gradient overlay handles exposure variation. The three class-showcase images use a 4:3 aspect ratio enforced in the Image module's advanced sizing, so center your subject horizontally before uploading. Keep the hero headline around 20-28 characters across two short lines because Fraunces at 72px wraps awkwardly past that. Testimonial quotes work best at 20-30 words; longer quotes push card heights out of alignment with their neighbors. Portrait images should be square crops since the 56px Image module uses object-fit cover cropped from center.

Questions about Tidewell Movement Studio — Organic Wellness Home Page for Divi 5
How does the hero adapt to mobile without any custom CSS?
The hero Group module has explicit min-height values baked into the JSON: 80vh on desktop, 70vh on tablet, and 560px on phone. The H1 Heading module also carries font-size breakpoints (72px, 52px, 38px). Both are set in the module decoration settings, so the section fills the viewport correctly on every device immediately after import.
What image ratios does the layout use, and where are they set?
The three class-showcase Image modules use a 4:3 ratio (width: 4, height: 3) with object-fit cover, enforced in each module's advanced sizing settings. The three testimonial portraits use a 1:1 ratio at 56px display width. The hero and final CTA background photos are section-level background images with size: cover, so they accept any landscape orientation without a defined ratio.
How do the alternating class rows reorder correctly on mobile?
On desktop the rows alternate image-left and image-right. The Yoga row (row 2) sets `order: -1` on the image column at the phone breakpoint, which renders the photo above the text on small screens regardless of DOM position. The Pilates and Breathwork rows default to DOM order, which already puts the image column first in each case.
Are the testimonial cards built with a Divi Testimonial module?
No. Each card is a styled Column module containing a Text module for the quote, an Image module for the portrait (1:1, object-fit cover, 56px width), and two additional Text modules for the name and role. The column uses `justifyContent: space-between` so the portrait row anchors to the card bottom regardless of quote length, keeping cards in the same row visually level.
What should I edit first after importing?
Start with the hero H1 and the three class H3 headings, then swap the six Pexels URLs (three class-showcase photos and three portrait photos). The studio address, hours, and class-cap details are three separate Text modules inside a flex Group in the hero section, directly below the CTA buttons, so they are easy to locate and quick to update.
Do the process steps look broken if the Divider connectors are hidden on mobile?
No. The Divider connectors between the step-number badges have `disabledOn: phone` set in their module decoration. On small screens they vanish cleanly, and the four steps render as a single-column vertical list with the numbered badge, heading, and description naturally grouped per step.
Which Divi version does this layout need?
Divi 5. The layout is generated natively for Divi 5 and validated against its real module structure before publication, so it imports clean into the current builder.
Can I use this layout on client websites?
Yes. Every download includes a commercial license covering unlimited sites you own or build for clients. Only reselling or redistributing the layout file itself is prohibited.
