Overview

A single-section contact page built around a floating white card that sits on a warm cream (#fef7f0) canvas. The card is capped at 1100px, gets 64px of interior padding on desktop (40px on phone), 32px rounded corners, and a soft slate-tinted shadow (0 24px 60px rgba(30,41,59,0.09)) so it feels like a postcard laid on the page rather than a fenced-off form.

The content stack inside the card follows a clear three-step hierarchy: a small uppercase eyebrow in the orange accent color (#ff6b4a, 14px, 2px letter-spacing) reassuring visitors that replies come within 24 hours; a centered Outfit H2 at 52px/40px/32px across breakpoints with a tight -1px letter-spacing that reads "Say hi — we'll bring the coffee"; and a 19px body paragraph capped at 740px wide with a friendly intro, a bolded phone number, and a bolded email fallback for people who don't want to fill out a form.

The Divi contact form itself is centered at 920px max width and organized as a 2×2 grid of half-width fields (Name, Email, Phone, Neighborhood) followed by a full-width Message textarea. Field inputs pick up the same cream fill as the section background with a subtle #f1d9c4 border and 14px radii so they feel like part of the card, not tacked on. The submit button is a fully pill-shaped (999px radius) orange CTA labeled "Send it over," with a soft glow shadow tinted rgba(255,107,74,0.35).

On tablet the section padding drops to 90px and the H2 to 40px; on phone the outer padding falls to 70px/16px, the card interior to 40px/24px, and the heading to 32px — the column stack and centered alignment mean everything still reads as one calm, vertical flow.

Who it’s for

Built for neighborhood-scale residential real estate: boutique brokerages, solo agents, buyer's-agent duos, and property-search concierges who want a contact page that sounds like a person rather than a lead form. The playful headline and "tell us what you're dreaming about" message placeholder set a friendly, low-pressure tone — a better fit for lifestyle-driven markets (coastal towns, walkable urban pockets, historic districts) than for high-volume commercial listings or luxury white-glove brands that need a more formal register. The Neighborhood field also makes it a natural fit for rental agencies, relocation specialists, and vacation-rental hosts who want to route inquiries by area. Small architecture studios, interior designers, home stagers, and boutique moving companies can reuse it with only copy edits.

Customization tips

Palette: the design leans on three colors — cream #fef7f0 (section + field fill), orange #ff6b4a (eyebrow, button, hover #e0532f), and slate #1e293b/#475569 (heading + body). Swap the accent globally by find-and-replacing those two orange hex codes; keep the field fill matching the section background so the form still "disappears" into the card.

Copy limits: the H2 is capped at 820px and works best at 5–8 words — anything longer at 52px will wrap awkwardly. The intro paragraph is capped at 740px; aim for 40–70 words. The eyebrow reads best as a single sentence under 60 characters.

Form: the receiver email lives on the contact-form module (currently hello@doorstepcollective.com) — update that before publishing or messages will disappear. You can safely delete the Phone or Neighborhood field; keep the Message textarea full-width (24_24) so the grid stays balanced.

Images: the layout uses no photography, so there's nothing to swap. If you want to add a portrait or map, drop it in a new column above the form and keep the card's 32px radii.

Questions about Playful Real Estate Contact Form Divi 5 Layout

Is this a full contact page or just a section?

It's a single section — one row with one column — designed to drop into an existing page template or stand alone as a compact contact page. There's no header, footer, or map module included.

How does the form layout behave on mobile?

The row's column is set to flex-column on phone, so the four half-width fields (Name, Email, Phone, Neighborhood) stack into a single column and the Message textarea stays full-width. Section padding also drops to 70px vertical / 16px horizontal and the H2 shrinks from 52px to 32px.

Where do form submissions go?

The Divi contact form module is preset to send to hello@doorstepcollective.com. Open the form module and change the Email → Message and Data Settings → Email address to your own before you publish, otherwise inquiries will bounce.

What should I edit first?

Four spots: the receiver email on the form, the phone number and email inside the intro paragraph (both currently bolded), the H2 headline, and the placeholder text on the Message field ("Tell us what you're dreaming about…") since it sets the tone of the whole page.

Does it use any custom fonts or icons?

Only Outfit, applied consistently across the eyebrow, heading, body, form fields, captcha, and button. There are no icons in the design — the submit button explicitly disables its icon (icon.enable: off) so the label sits centered.

Can I add a map or agent photo without breaking the layout?

Yes. The row is a single 4_4 column, so you can add a new row above or below the form for a map, image, or team grid. Keep the same 1100px max width and 32px card radii on any new rows to stay visually consistent, or place the map full-bleed outside the card for contrast.

Which Divi version does this layout need?

Divi 5. The layout is generated natively for Divi 5 and validated against its real module structure before publication, so it imports clean into the current builder.

Can I use this layout on client websites?

Yes. Every download includes a commercial license covering unlimited sites you own or build for clients. Only reselling or redistributing the layout file itself is prohibited.
